What Famous Guitarist Are You?
Here is a short quiz to find out which of the seven famous guitarists listed your style is most like! There are many famous guitarists I would have included had I made up the quiz myself. I think I would have been Gary Moore (aspiring) if he were listed!
My results:
1) David Gimore
2) Jimi Hendrix
3) Jimmy Page
Gotta love it!....Which famous guitarist are you?

David Jon Gilmour (born March 6, 1946) is an English musician best known as the lead guitarist, one of the singers, and one of the main songwriters (with Roger Waters) in the band Pink Floyd. In addition to his work with Pink Floyd, Gilmour has also worked as a record producer for a variety of famous artists. Gilmour has been actively involved with many charity organisations over the course of his career. In 2003, he was appointed by the Queen to The Order of the British Empire for services to music.
Jimi Hendrix (November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. Hendrix is considered one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in rock music history. After initial success in Europe, he achieved fame in the USA following his 1967 performance at the Monterey Pop Festival. Later, Hendrix headlined the iconic 1969 Woodstock Festival. Hendrix helped develop the technique of guitar feedback with overdriven amplifiers.[ He was influenced by blues artists such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Albert King, and Elmore James, rhythm and blues and soul guitarists Curtis Mayfield, Steve Cropper, as well as by some modern jazz. Hendrix is also widely thought to have been influenced by Pete Townshend of The Who, who performed in London when Hendrix started his career there in 1966. Carlos Santana has also suggested that Hendrix's music may have been influenced by his Native American heritage. As a record producer, Hendrix also broke new ground in using the recording studio as an extension of his musical ideas; he was one of the first to experiment with stereophonic and phasing effects during recording. Hendrix won many of the most prestigious rock music awards in his lifetime and has been posthumously awarded many more, including being inducted into the USA's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. An English Heritage "Blue plaque" was erected in his name on his former residence at Brook Street, London in September 1997 and his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (at 6627 Hollywood Blvd.) was dedicated in 1994. In 2006, his debut USA album, Are You Experienced, was inducted into the United States National Recording Registry and Rolling Stone named Hendrix number 1 on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2003.
James(Jimmy)Patrick Page,(born 9 January 1944) is an English guitarist, composer and record producer. He began his career as a studio session guitarist in London and was subsequently a member of The Yardbirds, from late 1966 to 1968, before founding the English rock band Led Zeppelin. Page has been described as "unquestionably one of the all-time most influential, important, and versatile guitarists and songwriters in rock history." In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Page #9 in its list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, as a member of The Yardbirds and also as a member of Led Zeppelin. Also appointed to the Order of the British Empire by the Queen.
Adam Thomas Jones (born January 15, 1965) is a Grammy Award-winning musician, guitarist and visual artist, best known for his work with the band Tool. Jones was rated the 75th Greatest Guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine and placed 9th in Guitar World's Top 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists. He is also responsible for most of Tool's music videos.
Dimebag Darrell (born Darrell Lance Abbott on August 20, 1966, Arlington, Texas – December 8, 2004, Columbus, Ohio), also known as Diamond Darrell until mid 1992, was the lead guitarist for the heavy metal bands Pantera, Damageplan and Rebel Meets Rebel. He was murdered on-stage in 2004 by Nathan Gale.
Synyster Gates (born Brian Elwin Haner, Jr. on July 7, 1981, is an American musician and is the lead guitarist for Avenged Sevenfold.
Thomas Matthew DeLonge, Jr. (born December 13, 1975) is an American musician, most famous for being the founding member of, and guitarist/vocalist in Blink-182 between 1992 and 2005, when he left the band amid tension with other members. While still member of Blink-182, he collaborated with former member Travis Barker in the one-off project Box Car Racer in 2002, releasing one self-titled album. Since leaving blink, he formed the supergroup Angels & Airwaves with former members of Hazen Street, The Distillers and The Offspring.

Your Result: Jimi Hendrix
You are all about jamming and just making music. You are born for making music. When you make music, you like to be with people you know well so you have a feel for them. You are in the spotlight all the time. Cut your hair, hippie!
pretty much... i mean, without the virtuosity and whatnot...
