What's up with the Mexicans?

I am not racist by any definition, in fact my father was an immigrant to this country many years ago and he went through the legal process to become a US citizen... So when I say "Mexicans" I am referring directly to those in Mexico, so please save the flame energy for elsewhere...

Not even getting into many of the protesters not understanding the real issues or economic impacts to themselves or their industries... Well-cited across various news sources...

I recently read that Mexican government officials are going to be supporting the immigration walkout scheduled for May 1 here in the US even though the Mexican Office of Foreign Affairs and President Fox do not support the protest because they do understand the economic impacts to the people and their country...

AND, now there is legislation in the Mexican government to legalize small amounts of weed, cocaine, and ecstacy if for personal use!!!!!!!

The whole immigration thing is out of wack.
You know i have mixed feelings on the matter, but, for sake of somthing to think about, what is taking more "jobs" away from the Americans-the Mexicans, or the Corporate giants like Wal-Mart? Somthing to think about. I just hope it's not a riot. It prbably will be violent as it is a heated debate.

All I've heard is a strike is going to happen. Also heard some of the produce places in california and out west will just shut down on monday. Either way I think its a stupid move on their part. Wont this just give the American govenment another reason to send the illegal aliens back across the border for causing such a problem/

As far as I am concerned it should be. What concern is it of the governments what I do in the privacy of my own home? As long as I am not putting people's lives at risk by doing something really stupid...like driving while high...then it is nobody's business what chemicals I destroy my brain and body with. Alcohol is at least as bad as all three of those drugs and most people don't even twice about it being legal.
