Works to Word HELP !!!!

Can anyone help me pleeeeeze !!!!!!

I created a document in works a while ago and now i want to open it up on a PC which only has Word . How can i open it without loading works onto the PC ? Install open office dot org. freeware. It can read anything....

Thanks mate but ive tried it with the same results.Wont open it. Is there a way to convert the document???

I'm not sure if this will work or not but you can try it.. Click on the Start button and select Run then type in wordpad. Now click on File (from the menu) Open and browse for the document. See if it opens it.

I know it might sound obvious, but...

Copy the file somewhere, and then rename the extension to .doc instead of what it is. Then try to open it with Word...

Weirder things have happened...

Or, try using Textpad, that always seems to be able to open stuff...
