In sticking with my true-to-heart, Non-Bias Van Halen attitude, here is some Van Cherone

This is a cool boot because it's good quality, good performance, and it has some funny screw ups. Gary gets confused on the setlist a couple of times... Someone randomly yells "Fuck" from the stage once... Gary asks Al to give him a beat... to which Al says, "I'll give ya' a beat" real sarcastically... pretty funny.

Anyway, I know some of you guys love this band like I do - No matter WHO sings. I think there are several boots from 98, including this one that show that Eddie, Alex, and Michael are Van Halen - The greatest rock band in history. The singer merely changes the outward persona of said monumental rock band. Plus it's in a foreign country... which is even further testament to the fact that the music in VH speaks volumes over the words.

Good stuff. I had a great time seeing shows on the 98 tour. The set list was great and the beer was flowing. This is a pretty complete boot from that era.

One of the best 98 shows I have is "Waited for the Day" it is from the soundboard in Sydney, Australia. They have the Mp3 version up at vhforums in their download section.

That sucks guys... sorry. No, that's the only other storage I have, other than the board, and I've got the 200 megs filled with other stuff. That host just is NOT meant for traffic... I think I'm gonna stop using it to post whole shows and just use it to provide the larger files that won't post on the board.

If you guys can't get the show and you really want it, I'll just rotate it into my posts over the next couple of weeks. I knew the server would be running slow, but I didn't know it'd take you a whole day for a song [img]images/smilies/icon_rant.gif[/img] [img]images/smilies/icon_cry.gif[/img] Just hold off, and I'll make sure you guys get it soon... It's mostly a matter of timing with that thing. It can't take more than a few people at one time. When Strawberry was the only one d/ling, he was getting a pretty fast transfer rate... less than 5 minutes after I posted the link, it fell to about 1-2 kbps.... and it was only downhill from there.

If you're lucky enough to try it and get a quick transfer, then you're ok... if it starts slow, might as well cash in your chips and try another day. [img]images/smilies/icon_cry.gif[/img]
