1976 bootleg - Strike While The Iron's Hot

Ok all... here's another early boot.

There were a couple of dave shows that got more votes than this one, but they are too big to fit on here while I have my Gazzari's Dance Contest boot up... But Sucka specifically said that he would perfer early material... Plus VanMan cast no votes but said he would like to have this one, and this boot has fantastic sound for being a 1976 recording. If you haven't heard this one, you're in for a treat!

05 - Runnin' With The Devil

I'm not completely sure the source report is 100% accurate, but I have a "bought" version of this boot, including all of the cover art shown at VHboots... That's why I used the 192 bitrate... tried to give you guys the best quality possible. The boot seems fairly professionally done, and it lists the source as Pasadena Civic Auditorium - May 30, 1976. However, VHtrading lists that date as the performance at the community college. I would tend to lean towards the college, considering the year...

In any case, I believe the date of the performance is correct, and I can VISUALLY verify that this is the "Strike While The Iron's Hot" Disc... as to the accuracy of the information printed on the boot... that has yet to be determined. Note to Patt5150... VHBoots also notes that it is suspected that everything from La Grange on is taken from a different source... read that vhboot page on the Strike boot, then listen to the transition between those songs [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img] I didn't notice that when I was reading the first time.
