guitar man sessions?

I have this 10 min or so session from supposedly of EVH jamming, sounds like its from a studio takeout or something and wondering if it was him or somebody else imprsonating. Ive heard the eruption on from here but this is just jamming from 1984 house of pain and some other things, gret playing though!!!! its from a thing called 1984 Rare Studio Demo Part 2. Would love to know..thanks.

also have a file (song), its a guitar solo called CLose Encounters of the Third Kind from the same sessions possibly...if its EVH im not sure why its not on any record...it sounds amazing. Any knowledge would be great...Thanks,

I've had the Eddie "Guitar Man" cd for about 10yrs. I think it's about 10-12 tracks or so. Has a F.U.C.K. tour era picture of Ed on the cover with a blue border. Eruption/1984 outtakes and more.It's pretty good quality. I haven't listened to it in a while but I'll try to upload it soon if anyone doesn't have it. It's a lot longer than 10 minutes I know that much.

yeah, i just have the eruptions and a take. I heard there was like 12 parts or so with the best being a jam of girl gone bad. Uplaod the rest if possible!!!! The playing is awesome.

I used to have the Guitar Man sessions to. The sound quality is OK. The first ten minutes are him jamming and playing a bunch of awesome true shred licks. Not overloaded with tapping. During this he is playing House of Pain. And on the second part which isn't quite as long all I remember is being kind of disappointed because he didn't shred that much. But, I would REALLY appreciate it if someone posted it as an attachment file.

I wonder... was this used for the spot in Back to the Future where Marty dressed up like a spaceman and freaks out his (teenage) Dad while he's sleeping? The tape that said "Eddie Van Halen" on it?!?

Anybody have this that they can post?!? :-)

No, the "Guitar Man" stuff with all the jamming of 1984 songs is totally different. Besides, I don't think there has ever been a real recording of the stuff he did for Back To The Future (There have been claims of such a recording, but it's never actually shown up anywhere...), meaning what you hear in the movie may be all there is...
