\"It\'s About Time\" Greensboro 2004 Boot
I'm downloading the bit torrent off VHlinks right now, once its finished I'll convert a couple of the songs to mp3 and post them if someone doesn't beat me to it.

The guy that posted that show asked people not to convert it to mp3.

Not really, the show is currently in a non-lossy format and the guy that taped doesn't want it compressed to a lossy format, you will find in the trading community (at least in the VH trading community) that a lot of traders frown on the mp3 format or any format that is lossy.

What is the big deal about mp3? It's quicker, IMO. It sounds decent enough...is this bit torrent thig supposed to soudn better than near cd quality? Or is this just like when the time Eddie said 3 sounded better in his car than anywhere else on the planet, and that's why it didn't sell?

Either way, I'm grateful we get to hear it. That's the end of that...even if it takes us forever to upload it from some 56k'er.

It may be quicker but you usually get these annoying little clips between tracks and pops and clicks etc.. when you burn to a cd. It is not so much bit torrent that sounds better as bit torrent is basically just the delivery system, but it the FLAC file that sounds better as FLAC is a lossless format as opposed to mp3, Flac files can be and with a soundboard boot like the ones Metallica is selling on livemetallica.com is cd quality.

Re: \"It\'s About Time\" Greensboro 2004 Boot
If you don't post, someone will...I'll never get how some people put stipulations on bootlegs..if I bootlegged a show, (which I may) I would put it up, and I wouldn't care what people did with it, these aren't for share, they're for US.The fans. In any kind of format.
