Ok guys... dug a little deeper for this one. Since I screwed up and started posting something most of you already have, I figure I'd try one that most of you won't have... at least I don't think so... It's a real Gem if you ask me.

Stop me if this is yesterday's news.

Here's the first few tracks from the "Oldest Lost Tape" boot. It's pretty decent quality, although it doesn't come close to matching the recent US Festival boot that I had up. At any rate, this is a fantastic show for a couple of reasons. First, it's at the Whiskey... nuff said. Any old ass Whiskey performances by VH are worth their weight in gold IMO... the other reason is because it has two songs that don't appear on the Demos anywhere... they're originals, unreleased, and heard only here...at least to my knowledge. They are tracks 5 & 12.

07 - Last Night

It's actually the original version of the song that would become "Hang 'Em High". Pretty much identical to what it would end up being... but it's nifty cuz It noodles with it. I love hearing earlier versions of the songs that ended up on albums later on. That's why I keep posting stuff from before 1978. I love the '74 & 76 material.

I had a problem extracting it from my backup disc. I've gotta get that problem remedied [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img] I've got all the other tracks ready to go, and I'll post track 02 as soon as I get it ready... probably be the last one I put up [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
