No... I haven't heard the John Mayer tune... although I do dig him... I think it's because, although they can be annoying, I see a lot of genius in Dave Matthews Band. My opinion is that John Mayer is a One-Man version of DMB.
As for RH, I've never seen them live... although I watched the PPV about 2 years back (I believe the title of the concert or tour had something to do with Karma Police)... regardless of the title, it rocked. It was about 1 3/4 hours, and I was gripped the whole time. I can't remember which tour or album it was for certain, cuz I don't follow them enough.
Only problem was that It was broadcast around 8:00 that evening, and for the rest of the night, I was helplessly depressed. TONS of talent, but if I listen to them at the wrong time, they really bring me down. I'd love to see them live though. We considered going to see them this past tour, but as is the problem with a lot of our planned activities this summer, we couldn't afford it [img]images/smilies/icon_ball.gif[/img] I can't complain though... we squandered all of the money we had set aside for vacation or fun for the summer... and spent it on
Van Halen. [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img] Wouldn't trade it for the world though - 2 of the best nights of my life. Very surreal to look back at. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
