Actually you guys wanna know one annoying thing D did? She pointed out that the sign to Harrah's I think it was, kept blinking in all sorts of different colors. It was really cool. She pointed it out during the opening act, and I swear that I couldn't take my eyes of that thing till like five songs after VH came out. LMAO.Hey during the opening act, that was the only thing keeping me entertained. lmao. That was pretty neat. There was one time when I was listening to the opening act and it kind of went with the music. The drum beat kicked in and the sign lights were lighting up in bits at the same time the beat hit. lmao. Now that's what you call some lightening effects! lmao. And for the record it was not 5 songs in until you stopped looking at it, don't let him fool you! lmao It was five seconds. LOL well maybe she's right. Once they hit the stage I went nuts. The opening band was good for about two songs, and then all I could do was watch those damn lights!

There were three things I couldn't take my eyes off friday night. Those damn lights, Eddie, and D's eyes [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img]

Don't get me wrong, I would have gone to see them by myself if I had to... but it's so much more fun to have a friend there with you. I'm glad you guys had such a good time... believe it or not, I can almost picture your smiles, even as you're just typing about the experience...be it about goofy lights or not [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

See, what you guys didn't realize though, was that those flashing lights were implanting subliminal messages and hypnosis into your brain. LOL Actually it was a great experience. I was very nervous about meeting D, and when she tapped my on my shoulder and I turned around it was like meeting an old friend again. I just gave her a big ol hug and we had a great time. I wouldn't trade our experience for anything in the world. Great fuckin show man.

That's awesome that you guys got to meet for the show like that! I've had similar experiences with other VH fans (I'm sure it's a drastically different situation than you and D)... but we all just seem to have a connection. If you've talked with the people on message boards for God knows how long before you meet, then it's even more apparent. Yet there are naysayers, claiming that the internet is way to impersonal to develop friendships over... Bull! I like some of you more than my girlfriend [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img]

It was a good time. Had a blast. I am glad I went. I almost didn't go. I am so glad I didn't opt out of this one. I hope that I'll be able to go to any future shows. If they have them! It was such a great time.
As for the cardboard, I am sure it's better than some meals I have gotten from Boston Market. lmao I thought we established in a past thread that ketchup makes everything better. Chris, put down the mayo and grab a bottle of ketchup. lol I am snacking on some of this mouse pad here and it's pretty good with some ketchup. A bit chewy but not too bad. lmao
