I have the same boot Jacob, but I was told that the label is incorrect. It's actually the gig from Hershey.

This one comes down tonight, or tomorrow for the Kansas City 04 gig, so get this while you can.

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

Yeah, Sucka's right... the discrepancy was actually caused by the very broadcast you are referring to. The broadcast was originally supposed to be of the pittsburgh show, but there were issues with the mastering of the recording. It was decided that the Pitt show would not be that good to broadcast... so they changed the broadcast to the Hershey show, cuz it was still close to Pittsburgh and could be broadcast on the same station with no complaints. The DJ who aired the recording incorrectly stated that it was the Pittsburgh show (as was originally planned), and the boot has been frequently mislabeled since then. VHBoots makes mention of the incorrect date on their info page here: http://www.vhboots.com/unchainedmonsters.html.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The sound of this show in general and Ed's guitar sound is awesome. I have a couple songs I found on the internet like 'Feel Your Love Tonight' and 'Romeo Delight' and they kill!

No problem dude, and I agree about Ed's sound on this tour. It's funny to me how he got that huge and clear sound from three guitar cabs, but on this tour he had a wall of cabs and at some shows couldn't be heard in the mix. And certainly his playing wasn't up to par this year, as it was back in 98. Very aggressive playing on his part, especially during this show. Kinda wish he'd shorten Cathedral though during his solo.

On a relate note...
I just acquired the Japan 89 show on DVD and talk about his playing being 'on.' I could not believe how exact and clean he played. Wow.

He was UNREAL on that 89 tour. He was, IMO in his prime during that tour. Basically just played flawless night in and night out. I have a show from that tour that I've been meaning to put up here. Think I'll do that in the next few days.
