Van Halen Live in Montreal, 1984
This boot contains one of my favorite Dave quotes of ALL TIME! "What's that? You bet yo ass it's real, this aint Quiet Riot budddddyyyy!" I love this shit. Here's the Quaram at the Forum, 1984. Consider this an early Christmas present, since I'm not sure if I'll be able to get another show up during this crazy period. Hopefully all of you will enjoy your time with your friends and family, and if you have neither just remember that all of us here are just one happy family. So enjoy yourselves over the holidays, drink a lot and be merry. But right now I want you to turn yo clocks back to 1984.....back when VH was king...enjoy this shit here.
The setlist :
Unchained
Hot For Teacher
Drum Solo
On Fire
Runnin With The Devil
Little Guitars
Cathedral
House Of Pain
Bass Solo
Jamie's Cryin
I'll Wait
Everybody Wants Some
Girl Gone Bad
Jump
Eddie's Solo
Pretty Woman
Panama
You Really Got Me
Ain't Talkin Bout Love
Front Cover:

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

Sucka,
Did you get this one from the DVD or do you have another source for this boot? Great show. Lots of great stuff from Dave.

A friend of mine burnt this from a dvd. I'm not really happy with the sound, but put it up for you guys anyways. Figured if you guys wanted to sweeten up the sound a bit, you'd go head and do it yourselves.

I just love how Dave doesn't put any effort into singing most of the songs, but when it comes to "I'll Wait," he tries his darndest and he does very well! I have a VHS of this one and it is a lot of fun.

Chris,
Thanks mate for the little early birthday gift. I would love to send you some good aussie sunshine, cold beer, girls in bikinis, a BBQ cooking some excellent steaks and a big old plate of prawns and lobsters for all the great gifts you have given me this past 6 months on this forum. I will just have to struggle on with the above in the mean time till you get you ass down here. Anyway, hope the Eagles keep you happy, may the snow not freeze your ass too much, may Van Halen 2004 tour live long in your memory and may we continue this wonderful appreciation of the greatest band on the planet long into the future. HOT TIP...Van Halen in Sydney May 2005! Can't confirm yet, as you may recall I have a students father who "knows" promotions....(makes me tingle with excitement or is that the beer kicking in?)

IF they do play Sydney, remember that I told ya that here first about two months ago. I got that from one of my "sources", but we'll see if anything happens. As for you, enjoy your vacation man. Despite the frigid weather in Philadelphia, I'm still knockin back the cold ones and enjoying life.
