Van Halen live in Wembley Stadium 1993

This one goes out to Mondola who hooked me up with this show a long while ago. The second disc hasn't been burnt yet, so here's the first half of the show for now. Hope you guys dig it.

Gnuckin' Farly dude!

Aaah 1993... the last tour we saw a truely tight VH... both musically and personally... and it showed on this tour man. I have never heard a poor, or even questionable show from the F.U.C.K. tour.

Thanks Sucka... Always happy to add another Sam show to the collection

No prob, glad ya like it. I loved the way the band played on this tour, but I do have a show where Eddie must be really fucked up. He was really really sloppy the whole night.

Just so you guys now, here's the set list of the rest of the show:

Finish What Ya Started
Amnesty Is Granted (Sam solo)
Eddie Solo
Unchained
Best Of Both Worlds
Top Of The World
Aint Talkin Bout Love
Jump
You Really Got Me/All Right Now

Really??!! From the F.U.C.K. tour?? Crazy... although not unbelievable. Every performance I've heard from this tour has been stellar. I'd actually love to hear a couple of those tracks from the night he was all sloppy. In a wierd way, I like it when Ed screws up a little Makes him a bit more human, musically... seems like the guitar work might actually be attainable... even though Ed's performance with one burnt hand and the other one convulsing would still probably trump me on my best day. Why does he have to be so damn good

Ya know what, I think we've had that show up here before. It's from the Wichita show I think. I forget, but I know TJ put it up awhile ago. Ed's pretty much all over the place during that show, which makes me wonder why ppl make a big deal about it during this tour. Ed's had his sloppy tendencies alot over the years, and that's the part I love about the guy. He's human.

Hi there guys,

Unfortunately, this isn't from the Birmingham gig, it''s from Wembley, either a few nights before, or after. The set list is correct and everything, the only thing is, it is isn't from N.E.C. as I was lead to believe when I traded !

Cuz that's the concert I went to !

Re: Van Halen live in Birmingham 1993

Totally man. I KNOW that Ed can get up there and rip through his own songs exactly as they sound on the album if he wants to. I like the inate musical ability...that's what fascinates me about him. My idea of a dream show is being able to be invisible and omnipotent long enough to just chill in the corner of a room while the guys just tinker around... in the studio, a living room, where ever.

Loose, free, and crazy is what always made me love Ed's work to begin with. People keep crackin on him for this tour, but I think the loose interpretations of the some of the same ol' songs is cool... It would get pretty boring for Ed, otherwise.

Oh, and I think I know which show you're talking about now. I think that was one of the ones I grabbed on the fly and haven't even had a chance to listen to yet.

Gonna have to stick that at the top of the "To Do" list

Hmm I think that was the Atlanta show from the Carnal Knowledge tour, if I rember right he was kind of sloppy on that show but it was the first gig of the tour so that explains it a little lol
