Thanks to EvH for sending this little gem from Ohio to down under.
Now I have the audio from my man in Philly!
What a great place this forum is.

Hey sucka thanks for this one. I am from Europe and I remember stayin up all night to see this performance. It was great. But I've already downloaded several versions of this audio as well as video, and I can't fint hte version with Arsenio's introduction of the band. I was the greatest introduction ever.
Does anybody have it in video or audio?

Yea, I'm sorry to say that I don't have the intro to this one. I believe Aresenio said something like,"The greatest band in the world. Alex, Eddie, Michael, Sammy...Van Halen!!" Or something to that affect, and it was bad ass.

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

He said something like this: "Let's start a party the way a party should start.
This band is a legend... in it's own time. They've sold 70 million albums worldwide, and they're here from their sold out world tour... for you all.
Here is the greatest american rock'n'roll band ever.. Alex, Michael, Sammy, Eddie... VAN HALEN!"
I believe it was something simillar.I mean how cool is that!? I've recorded it on VHS and memorized it, but my dad overwritten it with some bullshit.
