The software that I have to clean up the audio file gives me the choice of how I want to encode it. I figured since almost everyone has an mp3 player it's easier to keep it an mp3, but why not give it a higher bit rate at least?

No problem. On a side note, I just got back from the Allstate Arena show and all I can say is, if Van Halen comes to your town...SEE THEM!!! Great show, I can't wait until Thursday for round 2 at the United Center.
