"Wild In The Stadium" Van Halen live in Germany
I've been into 1984 all fuckin week for some odd reason. Great cd, and great tour despite the same ol setlists. Thanks to Sergio for this bad boy.
If this is the last boot I put up before the holiday, everybody have a safe and fun filled July 4th weekend. And when you're blasting the VH loud and proud, make sure you raise a toast to me! I'll be doing the same.

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

DDL is my all time favorite VH song man. Just unbelievable, and I think I get something new out of it everytime I listen. Ed was just on fire on that song.

Its one of those rare songs that end in the guitar solo, and i really like those. Its sad there really isnt a live version(except the soundcheck 11-19-04) cuz i bet eddie would have really let loose and gone on fer about 5 extra minutes. What harm would it do? Its a song im suprised Hagar wouldnt sing. I was thinkin listenin ta that soundcheck, how great he would sound on vocals. Hey maybe next tour(if there is a next tour). DDL has ta be my 5th fav VH song, behind HFT, Poundcake, ATBL, and Cabo Wabo

It's just no way Sammy sings DDL or any other rare VH tune. He just won't do it. I read in an interview where he says that if he didn't write it, he can't really relate to the words. That's funny because they sure as fuck did some cover tunes when Sam was in the band. I have no problem with Sammy, but the not singing the older material really irratates me. If I have to sit thru Eagles Fly at a VAN HALEN show, then he should sing some Roth tunes darn it.

No doubt Sammys the best VH lead singer in my mind, and you posted that article and i read it, and he did say if he didnt write it, he cant realte to it. But i think he does a great job doin ATBL, Jump, Panama, etc. And, when he says he cant relate ta stuff he didnt write, what about Mississippi Queen? Its Only Rock N Roll? Rock N Roll? Rockin In The Free World? Wont Get Foled Again? He should also take out that Eagles Fly crap he does. And any other solo stuff he may do. One Way To Rock really kicks @$$, but get rid of it. I know they didnt do it last tour, and Hagar may say he wont do it, but sumtymes with him ya just never know. When i saw them in chicago, i watched about half of eagles fly, and then decided ta go to the bthroom and get sum pizza, cuz i dont wanna sit through that. Great song, not good for a VH concert. He should replace that sh!t with Roth stuff, am i right? He completely tries ta make people forget the DLR past, and it seems like he feels he has ta do them, which is wrong. He should do them, and he should get out of the 'Hagar ego-zone' and give fans what they want, i.e. DDL

First time I've ever checked out the VH Boot Forum. Should have done it sooner. Thanks for the excellent tracks.

I don't believe there is a track 15. If you listen to track 14, Happy Trails is in the middle of the song.
