I wasn't too sure which
SRV style was most appropriate- I was going to do Lenny but a few others have already done that one, so I thought I would do one of his other styles- he really has a few styles- the jazzy clean stuff, the straight forward blues, and the rocking type blues. I think he's remembered most for the blues style so I decided to just ad lib over the
texas flood BT , playing a few of the signature licks from it but mostly just trying to do my best to put the same emotion and warmth that he put into all of his playing--- like someone else said- I hope I did the man a little bit of justice!!!
