Feb Entry... Sucker Punch
I have emerged from the depths of Wisconsin to present my new tune Sucker Punch. A song dedicated to one of my heros, Muhammed Ali. This one kinds of floats like a butter fly and stings like a bee...
This song features the insane talent of Rikki Davenport on drums and the amazing ear of Jason Keillor from Prairie Dog Productions in Hudson, Wisconsin. You won't find a better sound room anywhere. Nor will you find a better set of ears to craft music with. Jason also noodles a bit on the Rhoads in the middle section.
I hope you enjoy!!

No was a bit of a scam, got a stellar Trower concert but no Travers. Seller said he was just on the bill, but not recorded. I will have to hit the used stores.
Thanks for checking the tune out!!

Kevlar & Co.: this is groovy and funky, and very well interpreted. I love the Ali's excerpts, the synth, and that mean funky base.
I'm feeling like having an afro right now!!!
Seriously, this is great music, thank you guys.

Hey Wrath,
Thanks man. I too had to get some more Jerry Curl as I finished this one. There are sooo many Ali sound clips I wanted to put in.... Love his style.

Re: Feb Entry... Sucker Punch
Thanks Aussie. The keys really added a nice color to break of the rest of the song. The Rhodes tone has long been a fave!

Re: Feb Entry... Sucker Punch
That was killer. I love the texture, funk, mix of everything.
But, your guitar work was really exceptional. Your lead style is ripping, off the cuff, slinky feel, reminds me of George Lynch with your vibrato and slinky and sliding attack. Your rhythm is also top notch.
Really, really, really great. Excellent recording quality as well.
Bob
