Here's my January entry. For me its old school because it embodies some of my
classic rock, folk and UK indie influences and also because I wrote the song when I left school. The tune is about returning home to your roots. I only ended up recording the song last year though when I bought some decent equipment and home felt even further away (I live in china now!). Brindabella sun refers to a mountain range near where I grew up in australia, called the Brindabella's, and I try explore those mountains whenever I visit my folks. After travelling and working all over the place its like therapy to immerse back into the timeless natural surroundings I grew up with, feel the smiling sunshine and remember lifes joys.
All music is recorded by myself with drums essentially done manually in realtime on a
drum machine. I used a Yamaha semi acoustic, finger picking the solo, and for tone I simply used some of the Boss 8 track inbuilt COSM effects.

, did you record this at home or at a studio?. Sounds professional you should think about making a demo / album and sending it out to a Record label
