January entry from new member - Its called Thump!

Nice song there Joe, what sort of amp are you using?

The whole song was done on my Digitech GNX3 using my own patches and the GNX3 eight track recorder. I recorded 6 tracks in all 2 rhythm, 3 lead and a simulated bass track. The drum track comes from the GNX3 "drum machine".

I did a little bit of mixing/mixdown in Ntrack and then converted the file to MP3.

Not sure why it's called Thump!...I thougt the rhythm was fairly simple, yet had a nice hook to it. The lead playing was very smooth with excellent tone. I really though it was easy to listen to...very nice. The next step would be to find a more complex drum track. Excellent entry [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
