July Contest Entry-Move with Me Slowly-original with vocals

Since this month's contest needs vocals and I can't sing without clearing a room full of deaf mutes with earplugs , I asked VanMan2000 to help me with a song for this month. VM listened to a few drum samples, came up with an arrangement, wrote all the lyrics and vocal melodies.....and I added the instruments. It's a nice commericial type of tune and I feel it's got a solid chorus hook after a couple of spins. I am sure I stole the ending from somewhere...but I can't put my finger on it. that intro is very van halen i must say ! ehhe

can't mistake those van man vocals that's for sure ! ...

fat tone and a nice song ... i love the breakdown bridge it's cool ..

the only thing i would have to say is bring the bass up a bit ... and the rhythm guitar down in the solos .. but other than that i thought it was great .. nice start to the month !

Thanks for the kind words guys, VHFan came up Texas BIG on this one. I think he ripped it up when he had to and left me just enough room to give people a reason to change the station. VHFan, you kicked ass on this one. It was a pleasure.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and download the 9Megs guys. It was tricky to get all the parts to fit together where the vocals would have lots of space, but things would fill in every possible gap otherwise. VM came up with the right phrasing to keep it balanced.

Thanks for providing us feedback guys....when you are writing an original you are so close to the project the you really can't tell how it's going....so it's nice to have others give it a listen.
