Here's another style altogether more traditional solo jazz, on nylon string. As a bonus...
SOLO JAZZ GUITAR (NYLON-STRING) Sjones-arrangement of "Days of Wine and Roses" -the jazz standard written by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, on my nylon string, no pick, no backing track.
Wow! Another guitar genious joining our site!
Great entry, glad to have you here!
Now I'm gonna go check out your django tribute. I've got big expectations after hearing this tune!
These are both extremely fine performances. You're very accomplished at the jazz style. Your comping and runs are meticulous. I'm not sure if it's the jazz chords, but the Taylor steel strings sounds a lot like a hollow body electric at times. Was that recorded DI??

Yep....DI into a MIDAS....recorded live a few years ago, directly to 2-track CDR.
Thank you, buy the way, for your gracious words...!
You have some real talent going on here. I am very impressed with your arrangement of Day's of Wine and Roses. Big fan of the nylon sound. Your competion entry is of course quite good also...very technical and smooth. Hard to compete with a professional...sounds like you are well on your way to some real national recognition...good luck to you man. I will be listening.
