My tune for the contest
I waited a while before posting this because I though I would have time to record it again and play it better, but a lot has been going on in the past couple of weeks, preventing me from playing my guitar at all.
So here it is, my submission for the contest. It was posted before, but not in the contest. I'm sure some of you have heard it before.
Thanks.
Happy Sunday

Re: My tune for the contest
I was typing to it in the MP3 post and when I finally wanted to add it, your post was gone....
Glad I found it in the contest forum (you talked about a contest so I went looking for it).
I like the slides in the middle very much. I always find it very difficult to do these.
In the mean time I've heard this contribution about 10 times...... LOL
IMHO this must have been a happy sunday!! I can't remember that you posted this before....
Thanks for sharing!
I'm gonna vote for it later. Just wanted to hear the competition....

Re: My tune for the contest
Thanks for putting the poll thingy for me, Eric.
siN, thanks for the feedback. I really like this tune too, and liek the fact that it took life in 5 minutes. I think it deserves to be developed with vocals and a solo.
In the meantime, you'll have to live with this simple version.

Re: My tune for the contest
Hi there,
Yeah, I love this tune. I'd love to see you play this one, as I bet your hands going all over the place.

This would be killer when you've finished. But that's not to say it isn't smoking now, because it is !

Re: My tune for the contest
I may be able to develop this song pretty soon.
I met my neighbor down the street last night and he's a drummer and teacher at Malibu High or something like it.
His sons were jamming in the house when we spoke and he said he heard me play the other day (this particular song, really loud I might add) while walking his dog.
He asked me to come by and jam next time I'm bored.
Sounds like fun!

My hands are moving quite a bit on this song. I like it that way and I'm glad it transpires. I'll keep them running for the rest of the song when I come up with more...

Re: My tune for the contest
I'm sure some neighbors of mine would love to do that.
On the upside, I'm 6'2", and it probably helps keep the peace. Ah ah ah!
