wow!what kinda crap is that? what a sorry sob!thats to bad for him,what a loser!!! hey eric,is it possible to make the mp3 contest a little different when it come to voting?I just think you should not be able to vote for yourself.it seems to me that a lot of people "buddy up" and vote for who they talk to the most on here.I could be completly wrong as I dont see who votes for who, but I've been here a while and it seems sorta like that could be happening to me.or even post your entry anonomusly as that would make it much more interesting.I really think that would be cool! just a thought,thanks eric,your site kicks ass!!!

I'd agree Jethro...thats definitely what happens at Guitar Battle...the same people battle each other so the number of battles alone makes you go up the scale. Not sure how to make it fairer.

Actually, here's an idea...why not one month put the same backning track (not a cover) up and EVERBODY has to do their own interpretation of it? If it was a cover it was just be marked up on how close to the original it was but if it was something original you would get a lot of different flavours come out...what do you think?

Not a bad idea wah, let's see what Stiglar thinks. As for ruling out the option to vote for yourself goes it would require a pretty hefty amount of coding and logic to modify the scripts. The polling system written into this board is quite extensive so I'm affraid that it's not an option at this point.

I personally dig original compositions myself, soloing over changes is cool but I like to hear the range of what people are doing with their original compositions. I don't have the technology at home to do this so I would have to pass on future entries. I like they idea of anonymous entries... I am fine with voting for ones own composition, every presidential election they show the candidates voting for themeselves, for me it is a non issue, you should vote for whatever you wanna vote for. Even if I am the only one who likes my song...lol
