Time to vote: July competition, harmony/twin leads

So the theme for the month was twin leads or harmonized leads, and we've got a lot of great and very diverse entries.
Take your time to listen to them all and cast your vote!
Great job and good luck to all the competitors.

Thanks a ton for the compliments there Rob! Greatly appreciated man!

As for my own vote.....I had to go with Safe Insane's "Proviso Rubato"...Just too freakin cool! Love that type of music, it just really stood out from everything to me.

Excellent entries by all though....downloaded'em all & have been giving'em some good listens!

Congrats everybody, very good entrys everywere. Powerbastard have a nickname that perfectly reflects what his song is all about. Very strong song and the recording was high pro quality. But this was about twin leads and i feel that Chipshank worked his @ss more than anyone with good twists here and there and with a good song. Thank you guys for bring 2 prog songs to the competition.
Special recognition to Whawha for that killer song.

First off let me say that all the entires were outstanding. This was a tough one. But in the end my vote goes to ChipShank. Great job bro! It definitely does have a "Halo" progressive theme to it. And thank you everyone who voted for my entry, this is a great site with wonderful and amazing musicians. I'm just glad to be a part of it.

Woah lots of awesome stuff here!

Nivram-Great feel man, most excellent melody. I really dig that simple 50's sound (although I've a sneaking suspicion that your piece is a bit more complex than it sounds).

Eamon-I was tripping on the Interesting juxtaposition of distortion and baroque melody, lol not sure that it quite worked for me but kudos for the experimentation! Lol, then your tune started rocking when Survivor and Dangerous Toys joined in. Sweet job.

Limborg-........couldnt load your tune......

Naif-Hey, I've covered that piece once upon a time! Cool job.

Azagthoth...err I mean PowerBastard: Woah, I think I could feel Satan jump into me listening to your piece. Definately needs some nice Cookie Monster vocals behind it. Great and interesting lead in one part, nice rhythm.

Rob Tart-Great progression and rhythm. Very dark and pensive, just my style. The lead was very efficient. Nice big ol' octaves. Ending was most excellent and intense!

Sixshine-Nice, pretty.

Wahwah....invalid link.

Zoldergitarist-WOW, that was the best second-and-a-half of hi-hat I've ever heard!!!! I could really hear the emotion!!!!! Great call and response. UPDATE----Well crap, I tried playing your song again and this time the player let me hear all of your song and not just 2 seconds of it. To bad I already voted as your song would have been a strong contender
Your trills are some of the most inspiring sounds I've heard in awhile. What the hell is that slidey sound?

Sleepwalk guy, sweet rendition of my most favorite instrumental guitar tune of all time.

Lol, ok, out of the links that work........geesh, tough choice between Chipshank and Safe Insane.

Hmmmmm...........

K, Safe Insane it is. That was just masterful man. How long have you been at the guitar?
