Glad you were able to get this up wahwah, that flat out rocks man. You guys are right on the money and the mix is really good, extra credit in my opinion for not over dubbing the guitar track during the solo [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

Thanks guys. I use a 5150 Mk1 but the phaser and flanger are from a Line6 Modulation Modeller if anyone is interested in how I get the sound. I tried MXR and they were great but too noisy. If anyone is using a 5150, can you tell me if yours is very noisy when the giain is on about 6 on both channels?

i have the 5150 II , and it's pretty damn noisy , i've noticed though that if you listen to vh3 with headphones on in some of the quiet parts you can hear the same noises coming out of ed's amp as well that they didn't take out !

Good to know somebody else is experiencing the noise! I'm running a noise gate in my rack but it's so sensitive and it knocks the attack off badly when you're searching for feedback like at the very end of Atomic Punk. I WAS a Line6 devotee but felt that to try and get the 'early' Eddie sound I would have to be looking at a valve amp such as Marshall or Peavey and with it being a tribute band, it made sense to have the same gear. As for the brown sound...wouldn't know where to start to get it!

Wonderfull work! You know your way around the guitar!
You sound very natural on this tune, not like you actually play a cover tune. Very spontaneous!
