Tough one. I've been listening and narrowing it down, and listening and narrowing it down. In the end my vote went to Tomahawk.
Great tone, bluesy feeling and just great playing.
Runners up in my book were Bluesplayer and Rich2k4.
Everyone did a great job tho, so many killer jams here.

What talent here!!!!!!
Wow, just relistened to them all. I would have to go with Slicer on this one. Great playing with the dual guitars meshing so well.
Runners up were Bulletman (lyrics stuck in my head), Bluesplayer's playing was beautiful and I will have to say Tomahawk tone was awesome!!!!
Good job everyone, ya might know my first competition would be chock full of wonderful entries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys make this way too hard - the quality of playing from all was absolutely stunning and backed up with mountains of feeling, tone - well, just everything.
I had it between Bluesplayer, Danny, Tomahawk and Zoldergitarist: I'm voting Zolder this time but boy!, is thata difficult decision. You all ROCK!!!

Art gets my vote. Nice one Art. It's definately tough though. It's like being in a sweet (candy) store and not knowing what to get. So many treats but you can only pick one or your teeth will fall out...
EDIT: woops. forgot to thank all who have given me their vote. You guys ****in OWN! lol. Cheers guys.

This was cool. I listened to them all over time, just couldn't post to everyone. In the end, my props go to Eamon7. How he can play like that with an injured hands goes a long way in my book.

Me, I like guitar. I like loud squeals and pinch harmonics that only dogs can hear, tapping that would redefine what Fred Astaire popularized, sweeping that would make a janitor jealous, and most importantly great melodic HOOKS (like the greatest hook writers of all time Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson). Singing is not a requirement.

I must have given a listen 2-3 times on most of these tracks. Tomahawk got my vote... was followed closely by: Danny Boy, Zolder & Naifuzan...
Great Job Everyone!

Hi guys,
What a month!!!!! What strikes me is how good all these entries are and also that most of us think along the same lines. Whether we play like Petrucci/ Vai/ Moore/ Clapton etc, the ideas are very similar...... WHICH IS A GOOD THING!!!
My vote goes to Danny Boy for his use of stereo counterpoint and harmony. I love your tone dude.
Cheers fellas, have a pint of Bitter on me.
Jim
