Wah Wah\'s March Entry \'Close To Tears\'
Well this started as a Pink Floyd thing as the backing track is very close to 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' but it isn't as it's not 12 minutes long! Anyway, I started with some blues tones and then took it away. I was conscious NOT to do any licks that I'd done before but it proved impossible. The Gods of wierd noises were on my side tho' so I thought 'Fuggit, it's going up!'

Well I have a backing Scott thats the full 12 minutes and nothing much happens on the guitar until about 3/4's of the way thru so I just thought I'd do a blues thing in Gminor and see where it landed. Thanks for listening.

Thanks Jav; I'm a sucker for the blues and ballads...I love to go for the notes you shouldn't sometimes! Like YYZ, I'm a great fan of Alex Lifeson and I always thought he had the most soulful notes the other side of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Thanks for listening.

Wah that was very tasteful, reminded me of Gary Moore in a way. Very melodic tone. Good Job!!

Re: Wah Wah\'s March Entry \'Close To Tears\'
Thanks again...yeah, thats the Squier mate...showing off the stock pickups rather than the Seymour. What I like about the POD is that when I back off the volume pot on the guitar, it changes the sample exactly the same way as a valve amp...thats some clever shit!
