Thanks a lot Lynchman, SixShine and Scalemaster. Funny, I've had this patch on the POD since I bought it and just backed of a little of the gain. I'm sure the small dB boost switch on the Levinson Blade makes it sing more. Funny, cos it's essentially a switch for live playing so as you don't have to rely on the soundguy to boost your solo...but it gives it an edginess and gives real nice harmonic sustain.

Nice rock guitar instrumental

The guitar sound, especially at the end, reminded me of Joe Satriani's sound. Nice instrumental... you know what you are doing... and I can hear your feeling in your playing. I'm assuming you played the drums, and other backing music... also a great job. I could hear loud clean electric chops bouncing from right to left speaker answering each other during your soloing in some areas. I wouldn't mind remixing the drums... getting the snare and kick where I like to see them in my spectrum analyzer... making them tight and crisp. Great music for tv/film as well. Nice rock guitar instrumental.

Thanks James...yeah, I did the bass and drums also. Drums with Acid Pro 3.0 and the bass was into a Behringer V-Amp Pro. There are guitars panned thruout as originally it was going to be a song with vocals and the twins were quite subdued to allow the vocal to come thru. Truth is I couldn't sing what I'd written so I went the other route. Thanks for the listen.

Yeah... I was in that situation once... I wrote music for a poem my sisters boyfriend Bruce wrote... I had the melody for the vocals in my head... but when I started recording my vocals... I didn't like how my voice sounded singing to that melody... the melody was great... but not for my voice. So I left it just music... here's the music:

Wrenching phrases and wonderful composition. I loved hearing the subtleties between the strings and the pick and those massaged and drawn out notes that begin to speak so sweetly.
