5150 Settings

I am the proud owner of a 5150 combo amp and have always looked for some great settings for this amp. Does anyone have any great sounding settings for this amp? I dig the classsic VH sound, but any ideas are welcome. I will be glad to share mine as well.

Thanks for the help.

Re: 5150 Settings

I've found my 5150's absolutely SMOKIN! As for settings, if you take either of the gains above 6 it gets too fizzy but the main controls to play with are the resonance and presence as these change the tone dramatically. Think of them as working in reverse of each other...so if you max the presence, back off the resonance...but just muck about and you'll get good results...except a good clean tone!!!!!
