Re: Ask Wengie

It's a parody of Yngwie Malmsteen, the guitar player who treats everyone like shit and thinks he's God

Re: Ask Wengie

"You could even try to become like that musical slug Satriani or one of the other no names on my shit list.
I offered my services for their puny G3 tour, but do you think they accepted? Of course not. Could you see us on stage together? Me in the front blazing away with passages to bring tears to your eyes, my stings glowing like light bulbs from the heat, while they stood in the back and played rythm. It would have been glorious. I had even prepared my best silk shirt for the occasion. My lucky black one that I wore on my last 47 sold out tours. " that was from a thread in 2001. Hmmmmm, who's gonna be on the next g3 tour? LOL

AxeSlinger
I'm not sure, but I think I detect a tiny note of sarcasm in your letter.
I did find part of it amusing though, especially the part where you said you learned one of my blindingly fast solos..hahaha
I think you're slinging something but it's not axe.
If those no talent string whackers like Vai and the rest can't learn my amazing intricately patterned solos how could any one else. It well known throughout the musical world that only I, Wengie can play the solos that make the world cry.
Everyone knows that I could only improve on that horrible little ditty "Black Star".
I came up with the idea one afternoon while I was getting my toenails clipped.
Of course I never have to show off. People are flabergasted every time I walk into a room. Whatever party or function I go to, I always hear them saying, I can't believe he showed up here. They're obviously amazed that I would honor them with my globe trotting presence.
It "is" refreshing to hear one of my fans, the common people admit they're stunned by my unearthly technique. It is unbelievable isn't it.
I do believe your stupidity is showing through though. I actually have 203 stratocasters, not 200, and of course I need 4 ferraris, one for each day of the week.
Wengie

Re: Ask Wengie

Ive been reading the real yngwie replies. "We spoke with the promoter and many others for their opinion and the consensus of opinion was that people come to an Yngwie Malmsteen show to see Yngwie Malmsteen" Sure its true, but maybe he could try a little modesty? lol

Re: Ask Wengie

Question from Jason Gorman: "Will you be getting a hair cut like Satch and Vai did for the last tour? Even Ritchie Kotzen's had a hair cut (check out his web site for the proof). It's 1999, and you're a dad, so how about it?"

Answer from Yngwie: "No. End of discussion."

LOL!!! i can imagine him with a pissed off look on his face replying to that one.

Re: Ask Wengie

Jeez. I didn't realise who he was parodisyinginging (got a bit lost and didn't know how the word would be used in this context).

He used to really p*ss me off on The Links.

I feel a right plank now ! If only I knew he was a parody of Yngwie...
