B.C. Rich mockingbird

I was thinking about getting a Mockingbird for my second "main" guitar since all i have is an Ibanez Gio starter now. The only mockingbird ive played so far is the Acrylic series and found that i didnt like the sound very much. It was extremely heavy and it buzzed way to much for my liking. I mostly play GNR style hard rock and some metal and my starter doesnt cut it. Now, my question is are the other BC Rich Mockingbirds like this?

Sorry, can't help ya. I don't even know why I'm replying to this post, oh well. I can only suggest that you go around from shop to shop and play a few. Buying a new guitar is a big thing, you don't want to rely only on other peoples opinions.
