Dream Theater/Queensryche Concert in L.A.

I took my 10-year-old son to the concert in L.A. He's loved DT ever since he watched the Scenes From A Memory DVD with me.
He knows most of the songs since we play DT in the car on the way to school or summer camp almost everyday.

I'll point out that he was riveted for the most part of the concert. He got a little figgeddy toward the last three songs, but you can't ask much more from a kid that age.
He really loved watching the musicians play and used the binoculars to see then upclose (we were up in the nosebleed section).

It felt really good to be around thousands of other DT fans and true music connoisseurs. I often feel very isolated when I realize that most people around us have no clue and swallow the disposable shit music that's being crammed down their ears.

As we drove up to the Ampitheater I cracked up seeing a sign on the window of this expensive BMW. It said: “Dream Theater or Bust”. I though it was pretty cool.
