Re: Eruption warm up- what you never heard
lol your crazy, the tone is dead on and the playing man, that is ed. the only guy who comes a bit close is the curt mitchell guitar method videos, but he didnt play that, ive seen 2 of them. plus why would anyone put a pause and play version of eruption and not do it in its entierty? i believe it to be ed before he recorded it. just my thoughts. Re: Eruption warm up- what you never heard
you could be right i wouldn't really know i've only seen a couple of videos ...
although i think it would be more likely that a guitar method video would pause after each few licks to divide it up into sections for the player to get better grips of instead of the whole thing in one blow ..?
it prolly is ed , it's 8am here and i'm tired and i prolly wouldn't be able to pick out my own playing given the chance lol

Re: Eruption warm up- what you never heard
There are quite a few people that I hav heard that can nail VH, the only thing that I thought may be a litte off with this is the hammer-ons, they sound a little jabby to me but who knows, it could very well be Ed

Re: Eruption warm up- what you never heard
ok, my opinion is this is Ed, you can hear little things like string tweaks that are on the recorded version of eruption and I mean in the same spots and that is definatly the tone.
question, how do I save this to my pc I'd like to keep that around for handy referance.
Rol.

That would be my guess too. To save just right click on the speaker (link) and choose "Save target as"

Re: Eruption warm up- what you never heard
sorry guys but thats curt mitchell, not eddie. those tracks are on the "at the best" bootleg cd and are proved fake. also i have the audio tape theyre from (from 1990 when i bought it).the learn to burn method was on audio tape before video. those are the broken down "played at regular speed" peices with the "now at slow speed" edited out of the mp3. thats why its choppy. ive played along to those peices while reading the tablature for it in the little handbook it the method came with a gazillion times back in the early 90 s. no way its eddie.
