Oh yeah man, Iīd love to replace an old RH strat copy I got with this one, it sure was a pain in the a$$ playing it as a LH, I had to replace a few cables just because my left elbow kept twisting and breaking the darn thing, I guess Hendrix didnīt mind as he could manage to get whatever number of cables Who knows, I may just stick in some doe for it, WTH, itīs time for GASsing myself

I never really loved the look of the strats.(In Love with the sound though which is the most important thing). But the 60th aniversary standard looks really nice for a strat. If I had the dough I would pick one up for sure.

Somebody brought these up a couple weeks ago. IMO, the Mex models catch my eye more than the American ones. The 50th anniv Mex models they had out last year (Gold w/anodized gold pickguard) looked really nice , and this 60th anniv. Blizzard Pearl is just bitchin', IMO.

I fancy one of these as a retirement fund. I think they are about Ģ1500 or so? Don't fancy silver or gold tho. It would have to be sunburst to be authentic. I'm getting an S Series Ib chromed so I'm not bothered about all that silver stuff. Chrome is the new black this season!!!!

The cool thing about the MIM's is that they are starting to be shipped with Med Jumbo frets. That would make a difference to me...

Hopefully I'm following what you are asking me, DB -

These anniversary models can be kind of confusing. Last year was the 50th anniversary of the Strat. This year if the 60th anniversary of Fender, period. There are anniversary models for the American Standards, American Deluxes, and the Mex Standards. The American models are (at least they have been the last two years) the sunburst finishes only. The Mex models have been cool colors the last two years. The 60th anniversary Mex Std. is tha Blizzard Pearl I posted a pic of already. The 50th Anniv. Mex Std. that I was referring to is pictured here:
