FYI - Dean Vendetta - Guitars101

I got the $99.99 natual finish guitar for my son. He had been wanting a new guitar so I figured I would let him test this one out for me. This guitar plays great for a $100 guitar, it also sounds great and the neck although not a polished finish or a high quailty neck plays amazing and the action is low.. so low I had to raise it because I was not used to action that low

edit: I actually got the balck finish... which is actuall green.. I would stick with the actual natural finish if any of you decide to pick it up. I may order one in the next week or two for myself.

I never owned a vendetta xm ..but did own a MLX not too long ago. The X series is Dean's economy line ..i bought my mlx brand new for like 129. For the price, it was definatly worth it. Played well, action was super low on mine too, hehe. Not much in the sustain dept., (compared to my other gits at the time) and the pups were a little bright in my opinion, but what do you want for 100 bux? =) But, man..it was soooooo light ..felt like it weighed like 4 lbs!

Looks cool.. some reviews says it goes out of tune.. is it true?

Well. Im a budget guitar person.. Ive never a played a low budget guitar that didn't go out of tune. It's not too bad... but if you leave it sitting for a day or two without use it will need to be tuned, although ever so slightly) when you play it again.
