Re: George Lynch
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. George did mention during the Q&A portion of the clinic that his son had been accepted to GIT and that his son's playing was becoming incredible. I'm sure it helps a little when your dad is George Lynch. Someone in the audience jokingly asked if there were any plans for a "Lynch 'n Lynch" duo - he mused about the idea and said "we'll see". Would be pretty cool.

Re: George Lynch
I know George Lynch is not as young as he looks..and I think he has a lot of kids! I wonder whether having a parent who can do something can influence any more tho? I have a 5 year old and if he wants to play, cool, but I won't force him if it bores him. He loves Nickelback, Drowning Pool and Sum 41!

Re: George Lynch
Yeah...he sings along with it. He loves that track. Rather him singing that than some pop crap like we have over here!

George is da man...
But don't be rippin' on Don - he's da man too! Incidentally, ya probably didn't know he sang backup on literally hundreds of hit records for other artists before Dokken really took off, did ya...!

Re: George Lynch
Ok, Flash is not on the gig. But get this one of my best friends, Marten Anderssen, is playing bass for George Lynch now. Marten also plays with Lizzy Borden. We have played and recorded together in the past. A possible clinic tour of Marten and myself is in the works.
Hey Eric - you hit that one on the $. The mind is like a parachutte, it only works when open.

Re: George Lynch
Yea i heard that too Joy. Apparently these guys are callin themselves the George Lynch Group. It should be cool. Marten is on the bass, Charles West on vocals, and Mike Frowin on drums. "Fro" played drums on the Lynch/Pilson, and the latest Lynch Mob cd. I was really happy with the last two cd's George has put out, so im really lookin forward to this one.

Re: George Lynch
Dokken shared a studio with The Scorps, back in the day. Ol' Klaus lost his voice for a bit, and they needed scratch vocals to lay down the rhythm tracks, so Don Dokken did the sessions for them, and then when Klaus was better, he just redid the voc. tracks..
