George Lynch Tone

Can Someone tell me how to get a good George Lynch Tone.....

The Tone On " Back For the Attact " for me, is as good or better than Eddie got on VH1.

By the way, What amp is George using these days..???

I remember "back in the day", Digitech made a effects rack called a GSP-21.
This rack included pre-sets that supposedly mimicked the sounds of all kinds of "rock stars".
I think it included a "George Lynch" preset, but I'm not 100% for sure.

Spot on D.i.n.o - I had one and whilst ok, the tones were nowhere near as good as modern modellers.
As for Back For The Attack, it's not my favourite Lynch tone (a bit dry and thin compared to say, Wicked Sensation) but if I remember rightly, he used a mix of Soldano's and his favoured Marshalls. George nearly always 'juices' the front end of his amps with a Tube Screamer too.

Yeah, I thought 'Back For The Attack' was very tinny and middley whereas the tone he got on 'Wicked Sensation' with tracks like 'For A Million Years' was superb. Just listening to the stuff he did on the 'Gorgeous George' album now and he cooks on that as well.

Yeah, back for the attack sounded terrible to me, but his solo stuff, lynch mob, and even the two dokken reunited albums were awesome. And the Lynch/Pilson project is tops all around.
