Getting a good live sound....

So Sunday I head on over to my church, and I plug into their PA system through my phones jack. Sound like absolute crap. [img]images/smilies/wutblau.gif[/img] Even with the gain turned almost all the way down, sounded so distorted and horrible. I couldn't figure out why. So we tried micing the amp instead, not much of a difference, still sounded pretty bad. So until we figure this out, I have to play clean, and I'd rather play with distortion. I play through a PA as well, but put a mic on my Flextone amp. I never had the problem though. I can play all kinds if patches and the sounds comes out the way it's supposed to.

Contemporary Christian, so we do some fast distorted songs and some slow clean ones too. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb1.gif[/img]
