Gizmo Alert!
I saw this Jellifish guitar pick in a Guitar World ad today.
I went top the site and checked it out. The video demos are showing how to use it and what it does for sound. It's pretty cool. Anybody tired it themselves yet? It's ten bucks.

Re: Gizmo Alert!
I was thinking of making my own.
Looks like it can be done in no time with two old picks, epoxy glue and 17, 1-1/2-inch sections of D string...
Sounds like an evening project. I'll see if I'm up to it tonight.

I rarely feel that I'm wasting my time.
I have an accoustic too.

Re: Gizmo Alert!
I agree, it's excellent for developing hand strength as well.

Re: Gizmo Alert!
When I don't play my accoustic for a while, I really suck at it! It's a good workout alright.

Re: Gizmo Alert!
Kind of interesting, but I don't see it as being as revolutionary as they say. It's got an interesting sound, needless to say, but I think for all the "limitless" applications they suggest it has, it would be kind of a one-trick pony, IMO. Perhaps it's just the demo videos that make me think that way.
Cool find though, CC. Nice to see what new products are out there these days.

Re: Gizmo Alert!
hmmm it looks interesting to me ,
i wish the video was a bit better quality so i could really hear what it was like they should use an mp3 demo if you ask me .
i agree with you wolfman in that all the different techniques that it supposedly can do all sound kinda similar ....
i wouldn't mind trying one though, thanks CC

Re: Gizmo Alert!
I can picture CC now.. Looking at a couple of picks, hacking up an old High E string, sitting there with a beer and a bottle of Elmers

Re: Gizmo Alert!
I'm getting ready for a trip out of town for work and I've been working late. I'll probably give it a try when I return.
