good effects box or rack budget

im afteran effects box pedal or rack.im on a budget so i would get a used one.i remeber the alesis gt a few years ago i heard they were good. so my question is and age of gear not important only price is.whats a good sound bx say for delays
choruses etc i like long delays longer the better.

Is that the Roland 1U FX unit?

Also

Boss GT3, GT5, GT6, GX700 all good units and affordable.

Digitech 2101, 2112 and 2120 are excellent too.

Thats the roland unit that bunch of people use (fripp included). I believe they dont make them anymore, the only way to get them is used. But yea, its a nice rackmount unit.
