Guitar Car case?

Does anyone know how to build a Guitar case for a car, i mean, not the everyday guitar case, but I want to modify my car before I start throwing in stuff for the radio and stuff, and I was kinda lookin on Makin my back seat a guitar case. I would like to be able to pull up the back rest or whatever they are and behind it would be a mold of my guitar for my guitar to rest in, have any of you done this? if so, would you give me any tips or info? that would be awesome of you. well anyway's, ciao!

Never seen one as yet mate but it sounds like a great idea.

Or another option would be to find some way to put staps in the back of your car (behind the rear seats in the boot/trunk). That way you can put your normal guitar case there and strap it in for transit

Keep up posted mate as I'm sure we'd all like to see how this idea pans out.

Personally i sit my gig bag on the back seat and strap it in with the parcel strap in the middle of the rear seats

Let me guess...are you an import guy? I mean, you want to put your guitar into your car, for show puposes, not just to transport it?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I'm really sorry for laughing, but I guess I'm just old.
I'm a guitar player, and a major gear head, and what your talkin about would not be hip in either crowd.

Now I could really see it if you were building a real show car and did a musician theme, with amps and FX and themed paint.

Just my 2 cents...and hey, like I said I'm old (almost 40) so who really care what I think

Rob,

I think (hope) he means to transport it and not to have it as part of his pimped up ride.

The idea has some merit but I think it will be difficult to implement cos it would be using the cars space wisely if your say a gigging musician.

I hope too, but if he's takin it to play, where does all the case clutter go? He said he wants to put just the guitar in a fitted well/cutout.

Too cold/Too hot, security, convieniance...all problems. Trust me I thought about it a good bit before I laughed in somebody's face.

He just hit my soft spot, import cars. I also take shots at white kids who speak in ebonics while showing his underwear.

They claim it's the music/style...well I play blues, and I don't talk like an elderly sharecropper. (or dress like one either).

I bet there's even a compartment underneath that rug for your strap, chords, and pics too, huh?
