Guitar-pick-holder...

What can i use to attach picks to my guitar? I'm no pro, and rearly play anywhere else than my livingroom, but i hate being on the floor searching for picks..hehe... Tried the d.sided-tape trick(evh-style), but it does'nt exactly look nice.. Also used a tiny bit of velcro on my picks for a while, together with a small strip of vel on the guitar to attach the picks.. worked ok, but i realize now that the bit of velcro on the pick is restricting my playing...

If anyone has a great custom-made pickholder, or idea for one, please post...!

Some folks put double sided tape on the bottom edge of their guitar or on their mic stand and just stick the picks to it. My current guitar has no pick guard, or else I would use that as Matt suggested. So right now I just leave 'em on top of my amp.

Peace,

I used to just wedge a couple picks between the E string and the A string above the nut

When playing at home I put my picks between the keys on the computer keyboard!
Over the f1-f12-keys.

Thanks for all the tip's guys..

SteveS' "wedgie-holder" seems to be an good enough patent.....If it were to be glued on down by the pickup-selector it would have been perfect... Think i'll try using the wedgie-holder-picture as a template for a homemade plastic-thing-holder-thing (?) for mounting with d.sided tape....

I used to use a wedgie up on the nut, but then I wrote a song where I actually play the strings past the nut and I can't do it if I have one of those there. so now I just stick a couple picks in my singer/guitar players mic stand holder. for a while I used double stick tape up on the sides of the headstock (not down on the body like I think you guys are talking about) and that worked very well until I did a half-ass job clipping some new strings and I sliced my finger open going to grab a pick quickly mid-show. That fuckin sucked!!! It worked great aside from that.
