This post was inspired by Mondola having a problem with pick slides (Mondola, you don't need to thank me for letting it out in the open).

The just of it is that this thread would be a place where you can ask for advice about a particular technique. Others can post suggestions or links to some of the many instructionnal sites that deal with the subject.
