I downloaded this off audiogalaxy (RIP) last year. The playing is absolutely insane. The tracks name is 'Jason Becker - Insane Shred' but i dont think its jason becker becuase it sounds like a crappy home recording. So yeah, does anyone know who actually did this?

It could be Jason Becker-sounds like his neo-classical style. There are lots of unknown guys out there who are amazing players. Check out Al Estrada www.alestrada.com and Jason Stewart (try a search in google). Al has a track you can download called 'Radiation Man' which is amazing and Jason is a speedfreak but also writes tons of different styles.

yeah on second listen it doesn't sound as sped up as i thought . it's insane !

I'm actually pretty sure that it is jason becker now.........I think its a song called "too fast, no good for you!" [img]images/smilies/icon_lol.gif[/img] The crappy demo quality is becuase its off his album 'rasberry jams' which is a collection of demos. I couldnt find an mp3 of the song, but i saw tab which is the same as the file i posted.
