Question

Help~~ Changing my pickups

Hi, I started to play guitar for 1 and half years, own a Epiphone Les Paul Model, which is two humbucker there. I want to change my pickup because the original pickups are sux!!

I'm not familiar to the pickup stuff, can u guys please give me some suggestions on this? I know it's very personal, depends on what kinda sound u like.

I normally play pop & rock, trying to get the sound as versatile as possible, what brand and what model of combination do u guys recommend?

Thanks guys!!

Which Pickups

Well, there are so many pickups that will do the job, but may I suggest Seymour Duncans(www.seymourduncan.com). The JB models offer a pretty flexible pallette of rock to heavy tones, while the more classic pickups on ther site is specific to glassier tones. Just check out the site. They offer a full description of pickups and their tone characteristics as well as sound samples. Their customer service is really good too!

The Seymour Duncan 59 is a good one. Epiphones are great guitars when you put better guts in them.
