How do you change strings w/ locking tuner

Hey guys,
I just purchased a new fender 50th aniv. strat the other day, and it comes with locking tuners. I've never really dealt with a guitar equipped with locking tuners. So, my question to you guys is what is the correct way to take the strings off right now and how do i restring it properly? I know this is a dumb question, but i dont want to mess up a 1000$ guitar.
Thanks,
Andrew

Congrats on the new guitar. Basically what u want to do is change one string at a time. Start with the high E string. After the new string is put on. Do some hard bends, then tune, then repeat the bends, then tune till its close. Then move onto the the B string and do the same thing. After the B string is tuned, tune the E string again. Repeat this process up to the low E string. After all strings are tuned, leave it unlocked overnight. The next day, retune and lock. I hope this made sense for you and helps.

I think he means sperzel locking tuners..... Just replace one string at a time. as any guitar. It should show in the manual how to use the sperzels. They are simple enough. Just pull the string through tight. and clamp it with the locking mechanism. no need for extra winds on sperzels.
Cut the string about 1/4 inch past the tuner and your done.

Exactly what I meant. For the strings that are on it now, do i unwind the tuners then unlock it?
