I BOUGHT A NEW GUITAR! But i need your help!!!!

Ibanez RG2550EX the fucking best thing ever i have ever played. but there is a problem, when i bend a string the bridge bends with it coz its so touchy, is there a way to bend a string without pulling down the bridge???

i think guitars with floyd bridges all have that kind of problem. i read some where that guitarists like steve vai and kirk hammett use something called a "tremsetter" that kinda eliminates that problem.. im not too sure tho.. u mite want to read abit about the tremsetter..

btw thats a very very very kool guitar!! my friend has it and ive played it.. very nice neck on the guitar and very easy to play [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

You need to adjust the string tenison with the spring tension to increase the stability. This kind of question just baffles me because a lot of people (and not you Mickey, but guys that set these things up regularly) can't figure out or don't want to spend the time to becuase it does take time to get the adjustment right... Ehhhh... what do I know [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img]

No matter how many times you try and explain, i'll never understand EJ [img]images/smilies/icon_lol.gif[/img] I'm really happy with my ibanez edge now that i've blocked it so it cant pull up. As stable as a hard tail now. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
