i finally got a new guitar to replace my extremly cheap, but decent washburn.. it was a 1 in a million fluke that everything matched up so i found the guitar and got it and everything, and i know it was meant to happen..
its a 2004 Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster with Fender SCN Noiseless pickups ( i think so at least ) apparently they dont sell these pickups seperate, i guess only on the guitars.. it has schaller
locking tuners, and im not 100% on what the bridge is, but the saddles were replaced with stainless steal ones, and it stays in tune when i use the trem.. its a tobacco sunburst guitar, with amazing grain, and has a diff type of inlays, they are dots, but like, shiny and uhhh , haha its hard to explain, ill take some pictures tomarrow.. also if u press the middle of the volume button it makes the pickups sound like humbuckers, it also gives a slight gain boost a bit too.. i think.. another thing i noticed is where the neck bolts onto the body, it is cutaway and molded to fit ur hand when u go up on the 20th fret and up around there, it fits perfectly to your hand.. i got this guitar for 1380 canadian with a hard shell case and all the accessories, it was used, 4 months old, and in MINT condition, duznt look like its even been played, the dude who owned it is one of those guys who has like 30 guitars or so, he sold it to the music store i was in and bought basically the exact same guitar except in a different colour, besides the tuners and pickups and other modifications, this guitar runs about 1300 american without the case, which wuolkd be clost to 1700 canadian.. then you have to add on the tax, and the modifications and other stuff, so were talking about 2 grand canadian with the case and everything.. so i think i got a pretty good deal.. besides playing SO good, and everything liek that, when i brought it home and played it on my gear, it totally blew me away, i didnt realize how much better my tone could be with a better guitar and nice pickups.. im totally in love with this guitar, all i need now is my
mesa boogie maverick or duel rectifier ( first i gotta pay off this )
i plan to post some pictures of it tomarrow, and ill maybe give a little sample recording of it..
