Line 6 pedals VS Boss pedals

Does anyone have any preferences? Why?
Has anyone had any failures with the Line 6 pedals? I hear Line 6 has a one year warranty and Boss has 5 years, but I really wanted to get the Line 6 Echo Park delay pedal.

Me, I like guitar. I like loud squeals and pinch harmonics that only dogs can hear, tapping that would redefine what Fred Astaire popularized, sweeping that would make a janitor jealous, and most importantly great melodic HOOKS (like the greatest hook writers of all time Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson). Singing is not a requirement.

When it comes to pedals I used to have about every Boss one made...and I basically loved them.

Although I have never tried a Line 6 pedal, I would think they are great also.

My Vetta has most everything built in and I'm sure it sounds a lot like the pedals....which I love. Line 6 rules IMO!

Cool

Line6 pedals

I have a Line6 Uber Metal and it kicks @ss. Built like a tank. You'll sprain your ankle before you can break it. I LOVE IT!!!: Check out www.Line6.com for demos. GOOD LUCK...thumb:

Just to throw another name into the mix.

Have you tried the Marshall pedals?
Very good pedals, good price & built like a tank & has a very sure on off button.

I found the Boss & Line 6 pedals a little flaky with the on off. The Marshalls have a much nicer feel and you can guarantee when you stomp on it. Its on!

l6 and boss pedals are both very good. I use both and love the sounds i can get. I also agree on the marshall pedals, i have the jackhammer and quite like the sound, but i'm not too keen on their modulation pedals. just try stuff out at a store and pick whats best for you.

Guaranteed... Marshall pedals will probably outlast Boss pedals in sheer construction. But my one problem comparing the Marshall JH1 Jackhammer and Boss OS-2 Overdrive is that Marshall tends to sound best running through Marshall Amps. If you happen to have a Marshall chain, then getting the bomb-shelter like Marshall pedals might be a good investment.
